What to pack for a BTS concert: a checklist for your bag, from the queue to the encore

5 min read

For a BTS concert, pack a small crossbody bag with your ticket and ID, a charged phone and power bank, your ARMY Bomb with spare batteries if it needs them, earplugs, tissues, plasters, a light layer and any freebies you want to trade. Check your venue's bag and item rules before you leave, keep everything you need during the show within reach, and leave anything bulky, fragile or irreplaceable at home.

Before you pack: read the venue rules

Every stadium and arena has its own rules, and they change from venue to venue, even on the same tour. Some only allow small bags, some only clear ones, and many refuse large power banks, professional cameras, glass bottles, aerosol cans or banners on sticks. Find the rules on the venue or ticketing website a few days before the show and pack around them: being sent back to a locker or the car park after hours in the queue is the worst way to start the night.

The Arirang World Tour started on April 9, 2026 in Goyang and runs until March 2027. In October it is in Latin America, with Santiago de Chile on October 16 and 17 and Buenos Aires on October 21, 23 and 24, then Asia and, in 2027, Australia. If your date has not been announced yet, nobody knows the venue rules for it, so check again once it is.

The essentials you cannot forget

Put these in your bag the night before, and check them again at the door.

  • Ticket: if it is digital, download it or follow the ticketing app's instructions before you leave, because signal near a stadium is often terrible.
  • ID: some venues check that the name on the ticket matches yours.
  • Phone, fully charged, and a small power bank within the size the venue allows, with its cable.
  • Card and a little cash for transport, food or lockers.
  • Keys and any medicine you take regularly, plus a copy of your travel details if you came from another city.

For the show itself

Once you are inside, these are the things you will reach for during the set. Keep them at the top of your bag or in a pocket, so you do not have to dig while the lights go down.

If you have an ARMY Bomb, check it at home: charge or change the batteries, carry spares if your version uses them, and if the tour syncs the lights with your seat, set it up in advance following the official instructions, not at the gate.

  • ARMY Bomb, with spare batteries if needed.
  • Earplugs designed for concerts: they lower the volume without muffling the music, and your ears will thank you the next day.
  • A small banner or slogan, if your venue allows them, folded flat.
  • Glasses or contact lens supplies, if you use them.

Comfort kit for a ten-hour day

A BTS concert is rarely just the show. Between the merch line, the queue at the gates and the wait inside, you can be out for most of the day, and the walk home after the encore can feel endless. A small comfort kit makes all the difference.

  • Plasters for blisters and a pocket pack of tissues, which also save you in stadium toilets.
  • Hand sanitiser, lip balm and sunscreen for the afternoon queue.
  • A hair tie, a few hair clips and a folding hand fan.
  • A light layer, like a sweatshirt you can tie around your waist, and a thin rain poncho if rain is forecast.
  • An empty reusable bottle and a snack, only if your venue allows them.

Freebies, trades and fan extras

Freebies are one of the loveliest parts of concert culture: small fanmade gifts, like stickers, photocards printed by fans, bracelets or keychains, that ARMY hand out to each other in the queue. If you want to bring some, keep them in a small pouch or envelope so they do not get crushed, and bring a little extra space for the ones you will receive.

If you plan to buy merch at the venue, a foldable tote or a flat plastic sleeve keeps posters and photocards safe on the way home.

  • Freebies in a pouch, a few more than you think you need.
  • A flat folder or sleeve for photocards and paper items.
  • A foldable tote for merch, only if the venue allows a second bag.

What to leave at home

Every extra item is something to carry for ten hours and something security might stop. When in doubt, leave it out.

  • Large backpacks or handbags, which many venues refuse.
  • Professional cameras, selfie sticks and tripods.
  • Glass bottles, cans, aerosols and anything sharp.
  • Jewellery or items you would be heartbroken to lose in a crowd.
  • Heavy coats on the floor, where you will have nowhere to put them.

Our crossbody bags for concert day

At Mima&Lulù⁷ we are two ARMY in Rome with an embroidery machine, and we design and embroider every piece ourselves in Italy. It is all fanmade, inspired by BTS and not affiliated with BTS, HYBE or BigHit Music. Our crossbody bags are sized for exactly the essentials above; always compare the measurements with your venue's limits before you go.

Each piece is ready in about 7 days after payment, plus courier time, so it cannot reach the October shows in Santiago or Buenos Aires. It is a good choice for a later date, a cinema screening or a listening party. Shipping is free in Italy over €89 and in the EU over €119; outside the EU there is no free shipping.

  • Arirang World Tour crossbody bag, from €38: 100% polyester, 31 x 23 x 7 cm with an adjustable strap, room for a phone, a power bank, your ticket and a few freebies.
  • Mic Drop crossbody bag, from €40: 100% polyester, same 31 x 23 x 7 cm size and adjustable strap, embroidered with a nod to one of the group's best-known songs.
  • RKIVE baseball cap, from €22.90: 100% polyester with an adjustable strap, for the afternoon queue in the sun. Take it off once the show starts, so the fans behind you can see.
