What to Wear to a BTS Concert in London, Whatever the Weather
5 min read
For a BTS concert in London, dress in layers: a cotton tee as a base, a sweatshirt you can tie around your waist, a light rain jacket that folds into a small zipped bag, and trainers you have already worn for a full day. London weather can swing from sun to drizzle to a cold evening in a few hours, so plan the outfit for the whole day, not just the show.
Is there a BTS concert in London coming up?
London was one of the European stops of the Arirang World Tour, which began on 9 April 2026 in Goyang. The European leg, with Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich and Paris, ended in June and July 2026. From October the tour moved on to Latin America and Asia, with Australia to follow in 2027, and it runs until March 2027.
At the moment no new London date has been announced, and anyone claiming otherwise is guessing. If you are reading this to plan ahead, the advice below works for any stadium or arena show in the city, from a future BTS date to a solo concert or a big K-pop night with your friends.
London weather: dress for three seasons in one day
The classic mistake is to dress for the forecast at noon. A summer afternoon in London can be warm in the queue, grey and breezy by the time the gates open and properly chilly after the encore, especially in an open-air stadium. In spring and autumn the gap is even wider.
The answer is layers that each do one job. You want to be able to add or remove something in ten seconds without leaving your spot, and to carry whatever you take off without a bulky bag.
- Base: a breathable cotton tee or a fitted top that still feels fine after hours of jumping and singing.
- Warm layer: an oversized sweatshirt or a cardigan that ties around your waist when the crowd heats up.
- Rain layer: a thin jacket or a poncho that folds small, only if the forecast shows any chance of showers.
- Extras: a cap for the afternoon sun or light drizzle, and a hair tie in your pocket.
The rain plan
Rain at a London concert is less a risk than a likelihood, so decide in advance what you will do when it starts. Umbrellas are often not allowed inside stadiums, and even where they are, nobody behind you will thank you for one, so check your venue's rules and count on a hood or a poncho instead.
Think about your feet too. Light canvas shoes soak through in minutes on wet ground, and cold, damp socks will ruin the second half of the night faster than any setlist surprise. Trainers with a solid sole and a spare pair of socks in your bag are a small, very effective insurance. Finally, choose a bag that closes with a zip, so your phone, ticket and power bank stay dry.
Getting there and back: the Tube, the queue and the walk
A big London show means crowded trains before and after. The Underground can feel warm and stuffy even on a cold day, which is one more reason to wear layers you can open or take off. After the concert, expect long queues at the station and a slow walk with thousands of other fans: this is when the sweatshirt you tied around your waist earns its place.
Keep your essentials on your body, not in a coat pocket you might take off. A small crossbody bag worn in front is easier to manage in a crowd than a backpack, and many venues have strict limits on bag size, so read the venue's bag policy a few days before rather than at the gate.
Three London-ready outfit formulas
Once the practical side is solved, pick one reference and let it lead the look: your bias, the current Arirang era or simply a touch of Borahae purple. One clear idea photographs better than ten, and it is much easier to wear for ten hours.
- Floor ticket: tee or crop top, light trousers or jeans you can move in, a zipped crossbody bag, a sweatshirt around the waist and a poncho folded inside the bag.
- Seated ticket: a fuller look with an oversized sweatshirt over a tee, because you can take it off and keep it on your lap, plus a light rain jacket for the walk out.
- Travelling in from abroad: wear the sweatshirt on the plane or train so it does not take space in your luggage, and plan an outfit that works for sightseeing in the morning and the show at night.
Our pieces for a London concert look
At Mima&Lulù⁷ we are two ARMY in Rome with an embroidery machine: we design and embroider every piece ourselves in Italy. Our designs are fanmade, inspired by BTS and not affiliated with BTS, HYBE or BigHit Music. These three cover the warm layer, the base and the bag, and one of them is practically named after London weather.
Each piece is ready in about 7 days after payment confirmation, plus courier time, so order well before your trip. We ship to the UK with the courier chosen at checkout, but since the UK is outside the European Union there is no free shipping, and import charges may apply depending on your order.
